MikroTik RouterBOARD 5-port Gigabit Switch
The MikroTik RouterBOARD 5-port Gigabit Switch is a low cost SOHO switch in a small plastic case. It has 5 Gigabit ethernet ports powered by an Atheros switch AR8327. This model can source power to other Mikrotik devices. Passive PoE output is available on ports 2-5 with a maximum current of 500mA per port. Also included is one fixed Gigabit Ethernet SFP cage on the back of the unit. (Mini-GBIC; SFP module not included).
The RB260GSP is powered by an operating system designed specifically for MikroTik Switch products - SwOS.
SwOS is configurable from your web browser. It gives you all the basic functionality for a managed switch, plus more. Advanced SwOS features allow you to:
- manage port-to-port forwarding
- apply MAC filters
- configure VLANs
- mirror traffic
- apply bandwidth limitations
- some MAC and IP header fields
Tested and recommended to use with MikroTik SFP modules: S-85DLC05D, S-31DLC20D and S-35/53LC20D (not included).
