Ordering, shipping and returns information
Ordering
All orders can be placed using our on-line shop, just find the product you want and click on the 'Add to cart' icon. Once you have the items you would like to purchase in your cart, view your cart by clicking one of the links in the top area of your browser. From the cart page you can follow the links through the checkout process.
If you have any trouble with our shop please feel free to contact us, we are more than happy to help you out.
Email purchase orders: All orders need to be placed online through the website. You can easily do this yourself and enter your purchase order number to appear on the generated invoice. If you would like to email your purchase order and have us manually enter it for you this will attract a processing fee.
If we order something in especially for your order, you won't then be able to cancel that order without our approval. Otherwise we might be stuck with the stock that you wanted but maybe nobody else does.
Payment is required before delivery.
Payment options
Payment is in New Zealand Dollars (NZD). We accept two methods of payment; secure credit card payment via our website and direct credit payment. You may choose which of these you prefer. If neither of these suit, please contact us so we can work out a different method. Unfortunately we cannot offer credit accounts at this time.
To help prevent credit card fraud we may occasionally ask for further verification for orders placed with a credit card.

Please make sure you put your order number (supplied when you confirm your order) as a reference somewhere with your direct credit. Without this it makes it very difficult for us to relate orders to payments and will quite possibly cause delays getting your order delivered.
Direct credit transactions usually appear in our account overnight, if you bank with ASB we will receive your payment on the same day, some other banks have starting to same day clearance also. If you'd like you can send us through a screenshot of your payment to speed things up.

Shipping
All orders over $100.00 qualify for free shipping, everything under that is just $5 for delivery. Very small orders shipped to rural delivery addresses may incur an extra fee. Normally we don't worry about this but if you order something worth $10 or so it actually costs us money. The same goes for bulky items sent Internationally. We'll notify you if an extra charge is applicable.
For all products shipping from our premises to a New Zealand address we use CourierPost's service, this means that you should receive your order the day after we confirm your payment. For credit card orders which are received early enough in the day (usually before 2pm) you should receive your order the next day.
Note that while we have had very good success with Courier service we don't guarantee that your order will arrive within this timeframe. It may take a couple of weeks for us to get items delivered sometimes.
Products which are not in stock at our premises will sometimes be shipped directly to you from our supplier and may or may not take longer to ship, please contact us to find out an estimated delivery time.
International Orders
To help prevent credit card fraud we may occasionally ask for further verification for orders placed with a credit card issued outside of New Zealand. Please don't be offended, it's really not a big deal, we're just trying to protect ourselves from losing money. You know how the bank tells you that you're protected shopping online and they will refund you for and fraudulent transactions? Actually they just take the money off the retailer where the card was used which could be us.
Our prices displayed include tax (GST) for New Zealand customers, for International customers you can treat the prices as exclusive of tax (GST).
We can ship International orders on standard Air Mail which is not traceable, or if you would like a faster service which has tracking available just let us know, the cost starts at around $30.
Security
Our site uses industry standard SSL encryption (128bit) to secure your confidential information whilst it travels from your browser to our server. Your browser should show a padlock icon while you are checking out which you can click on to verify that you are securely dealing with us.
We do not store your credit card details. They are only passed on to our payment gateway provider to process your payment. Please see out privacy policy for more information.
Returns & Warranty
Returns aren't really that fun for anyone involved, but we try to make the process as painless as possible. There's a few guidelines below which will help out.
Any damaged or faulty products should be returned within 5 days of delivery. Please contact us as soon as possible after delivery to discuss the problem and request a return authorisation.
All products have a 12 month return to base warranty, some items have an additional manufacturers warranty which should be noted in the product details. The warranty of replacement items continues for the original period from the original date of purchase.
Returned goods must include all original components and all original packaging. You will need to cover the costs of shipping the faulty goods back to our premises, where the goods are faulty we will cover the cost of shipping the replacements back to you.
Please don't send things back without first requesting a return authorisation, we need this to keep track of things. If you send something back without a return authorisation it might not be accepted by us.
Please do make sure that all items are shipped with sufficient packaging to protect against damage. We also advise people to use a trackable courier service, if your return turns up damaged from transit or goes missing then we won't be able to do a standard replacement for you. Note that your items are your responsibility until they are safely received back here by us.
It does take us time to test and process returns, due to this returned goods which are tested and found to be in working order will incur either a service and return shipping fee, or a minimum 15% restocking fee. Goods received for return without all original components and packaging will incur a higher restocking fee dependant on missing items. Replacement goods for returned goods without all original components and packaging will be sent out without all original components and accessories.
Other things
We will honour all our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act in all situations where it applies to a sale. Nothing we've said on this page is intended to limit your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act. If you're purchasing from us for the purposes of a business then by checking out you agree that the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply to the sale. Feel free to get in touch with us if you would like to clarify this.
Sometimes we make mistakes, we might copy a description from a supply which isn't quite right, have a slightly different image, make a typoe when entering a price or something like that, sorry. We'll try our best to put things right where we can, we'll also let you know when we can't.
Note that some of our items are one-offs and that there may not be spare parts or repair facilities available for everything that we sell.
Finally we do have to say a few things about contracts (there's always something). When you submit an order you're making an offer, please take these terms and conditions into account as part of that. Normally we will, but we don't nessacarily accept every submitted order, sometimes we'll have to reject them, we'll let you know.
